The ArtLinks Database can be searched in several  ways from the Search Area on the Home Page.

• by Artist's/Art Group name (scroll down Artists'/Art Group names and click on the name)

•  You will be re-directed to their Profile page. All Creative Practitioner/Art groups are listed alphabetically.

• Search Tip: by entering the first initial of an Artist's first name, the list will jump straight to that letter and you will find your Artist/Art Group quicker

• by default by leaving 'All Artists' in the By Artist box on the homepage, the ArtLinks Database can be searched and list all artists working in a particular

• artform (artists are group into five areas: dance, film, literature, music, theatre and visual art and colour coded, see below)

• discipline

• context (contexts are areas/communities that artists/groups may particularly work in, e.g with youth, elderly, scientists etc)

Search Results: The ArtLinks Database will display all creative practitioners/groups in different colours depending on the art form, discipline or context they identify with:

• by keywords:

The ArtLinks Database can also be searched by entering keywords; for e.g if you are looking for an opera singer, type in the word 'opera singing' and the ArtLinks Database will bring up all practitioners working in this area.
